Bali Airport Transfers

Compare and Review all Public and Private Transfer Options

Transportation to and from Bali Airport

Bali International Airport is the only aviation hub in Bali. Thus, if you are going to travel to Bali, you’ll fly to DPS Airport. Once you land there, you’ll have to figure out how to reach your final destination. Airport taxis and Bali airport transfers are two of the most common transit options, while many travelers settle on rental cars to enjoy independent journeys during their stay in Bali. As far as public transportation is concerned, various buses are traveling from and to the airport. Still, the bus isn’t a popular means of transport in Bali.

Taxi

Bali airport taxis are one of the most popular transit options from and to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. Verily, passengers can opt for a set-priced taxi ride with the official Bali airport taxis which have ticket counters inside the terminals, negotiate a fare with the taxi drivers who do business outside the terminal buildings, or even leave the airport and catch one metered taxi from the street.

Bus

You’ll find various bus lines departing from DPS Airport. However, the bus isn’t a popular Bali airport transfer option, as routes are scarce and the provided services are regarded as untrustworthy. That being said, the bus is the only public means of transit at Bali Indonesia Airport. Thus, passengers who are looking for an affordable way to reach their destination don’t have any other choice but to catch one of the bus lines mainly linking the airport to various parts of South Bali.

Car Hires

A Bali airport car rental is the ideal way to travel around the island at your pace, as well as the most suitable mode of transportation for travelers who like to add adventurous vibes to their journeys. Nevertheless, since the local roads in Bali are narrow and often not well-maintained, and the traffic levels are almost always high, Bali car rentals with a driver seem to be an even more popular transfer option.

Bali Airport to Ubud

If the picturesque Ubud is your destination, you’ll find plenty of options for your transfer to your journey’s end. Thus, airport taxis and Bali airport transfers are the most convenient alternatives, whereas airport car rentals guarantee independent journeys from Bali Airport to Ubud, as well as relaxed onward trips to the nearby areas. Last but not least, buses also head from the airport to Ubud. Still, you won’t find a direct bus route, but you’ll have to change between lines.

Bali Airport to Canggu

One should expect that the popular Canggu would be efficiently connected to Bali International Airport. However, this is not the case. Travelers who don’t want to catch a taxi or book a Bali airport transfer for their journey from Bali Airport to Canggu have to rent a car at the airport. Hence, unfortunately, there is no bus route linking DPS Airport to Canggu.

Bali Airport to Seminyak

Seminyak is situated just 10km/6.2 miles from Bali International Airport. Thus, a ride with an airport taxi, a luxurious Bali airport transfer, or a handy car rental from Bali Airport to Seminyak won’t last more than 30 minutes when roads aren’t congested. However, if you are looking for a more affordable transportation option, you won’t find a public transit alternative from the airport to Seminyak. Hence, there is no airport bus route heading to Seminyak either directly or with connecting stops.

Bali Airport to Kuta

The vibrant Kuta lies fairly close to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. Thus, you can catch an airport taxi or reserve a Bali airport transfer and reach your destination in just 15 minutes (under normal traffic conditions). Alternatively, if you relish autonomous rides, you can settle on an airport car rental or a scooter for your journey or pick the cheapest option, hence one of the buses directly linking Bali Airport to Kuta
